Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to introduce myself and give a brief description of my role here at Bay Ridge

Catholic Academy. My name is Sabrina Conte. I am a School Counselor at the Program for the

Development of Human Potential (PDHP). PDHP is a New York State prevention program,

dedicated to providing educational and counseling services to Catholic schools in Brooklyn and

Queens. At Bay Ridge Catholic Academy, my role as an Elementary School Counselor will be

providing classroom presentations on improving social skills, communication skills, and

awareness of the dangers of substance abuse for middle school students. Additionally, my duties

to the school include meeting with students if needed, regarding any school, peer conflicts,

and/or emotional concerns. I also provide weekly counseling for students with consent from

parental guardians to address any social or emotional concerns.

For this academic school year, I will be available to the BRCA school community Monday,

Tuesday, and Wednesday between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Please feel free to contact
